Julietta Escudero Arrested With Fake Tennessee Asbestos Certification ID, Jailed 11 Years Later – Scoop: Nashville

Julietta Escudero, 57, was arrested with a fake Tennessee asbestos certification ID card on March 21, 2013. Special agents with the EPA Office of Inspector General were alerted that Escudero, of Dupont on Industrial Drive, had fraudulently passed off an asbestos certification ID card. On March 28, 2013, special agents interviewed Escudero at the Dupont plant. Escudero admitted that the ID card was fraudulent and that she had never attended an asbestos abatement worker certification training course. Escudero stated that she had purchased the certification from an individual named Roberto Gonzalez. She noted that she had paid a man named “Noe” $100 to have her ID card made. Escudero was then taken into custody for counterfeiting eleven years later, on July 3, 2024.
