Ed Sheeran Announces Mathematics Tour Will End in 2025

Washington: English singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran has announced European dates for the final leg of his three-year Mathematics Tour, according to People.

On his Instagram account, he shared a video announcing the Mathematics tour. “2025 marks the end of the Mathematics tour,” Sheeran said in the video. “We’re going to do some big shows in Europe and some more that we’ll announce soon.”

He wrote in his caption that he plans to perform in “most of the other places we haven’t been yet, but the first dates to be offered will be the rest of Europe.”

He wrote in the caption: “In 2025, the Mathematics Tour ends! We will visit most of the other places we haven’t been yet, but the first dates to be released will be the rest of Europe, others will follow, but the European dates are on sale July 10th (Rome July 12th), see you next year. It was time to stop, but then we can press play…”

The Mathematics Tour is Ed Sheeran’s fourth concert tour. It consists of 131 concerts, beginning on April 23, 2022 in Dublin, Ireland, and is scheduled to end on September 5, 2025 in Düsseldorf, Germany.

The European concerts will begin in Madrid on Monday, May 5, 2025, and will continue across the continent in Rome, Italy, Oslo, Norway, Zurich, Stockholm, and Copenhagen. Sheeran will perform his final European concert in Düsseldorf, Germany on Tuesday, September 9, 2025.

The singer began his Mathematics Tour in April 2022 in Europe and performed until September 2022. He then toured New Zealand and Australia in February 2023 before continuing the tour in the United States in April 2023.

Sheeran’s US tour featured artists Khalid, Masie Peters, Russ, Dylan, Cat Burns and Rosa Linn. Following his US tour, Sheeran traveled across Europe and is currently performing through Sunday, September 8.

While opening acts for the final European leg of the tour have yet to be announced, tickets for the new tour dates will go on sale through Sheeran’s official website on Wednesday, July 10, and the tour dates in Rome, Italy, will go on sale on Friday, July 12.
