Felix Jaehn and Sophie Ellis-Bextor Collaborate on “Ready For Your Love”

Felix Jaehn and Sophie Ellis-Bextor have teamed up for a new track titled “Ready For Your Love.” The combination of Jaehn’s pulsating beats and Ellis-Bextor’s hypnotic vocals promises to captivate the dance floor this summer. This infectious electropop collaboration is now available on all major digital streaming platforms via Casablanca Records.

Jaehn is an award-winning German DJ and producer who has won multiple gold, platinum and diamond albums. His remix of Jamaican singer Omi’s “Cheerleader” reached #1 in 55 countries and spent six weeks atop the Billboard Hot 100. In 2015, Jaehn achieved a global #1 hit with a remix of Rufus and Chaka Khan’s “Ain’t Nobody,” retitled “Ain’t Nobody (Loves Me Better),” and featuring vocals by Jasmine Thompson. In 2016, Jaehn received Germany’s Bambi Award and was voted Best Dance Artist four times in a row by the German 1Live Radio Awards. Jaehn has released two studio albums, 2018’s I and 2021 Breathe.

After the breakup of her indie band Theaudience, British singer-songwriter Ellis-Bextor established herself as a solo artist in the early 2000s. Her first hit single was a collaboration with Italian DJ Spiller titled “Groovejet (If This Ain’t Love)”, which debuted at number one in the UK charts and garnered numerous awards. Ellis-Bextor released her debut album, Read my lipsthe following year. The album reached number two in the UK charts and included four top 20 singles, including “Murder on the Dancefloor”, which was reportedly the most played song in Europe in 2002.

Last year, “Murder on the dance floor” served as the soundtrack to a key scene in Emerald Fennell’s film Saline and became a viral phenomenon, charting again worldwide and marking Ellis-Bextor’s first entry on the US Billboard Hot 100. The track now has over 750 million streams across DSPs. Also in 2023, Ellis-Bextor released her seventh album, Hanawhich appeared in the UK Top 10 albums.
