Officials meet to discuss future of rainbow crosswalk

SALISBURY, Md. — PFLAG officials met with Salisbury Mayor Randy Taylor on Wednesday to discuss the future of the crosswalk.

Ideas were exchanged at the meeting and Salisbury PFLAG Executive Director Mark DeLancey said they have made some progress on the crosswalk plans and are waiting to hear back from Mayor Taylor to see what he brings to the table.

“The summary of the meeting is this: Even though the crosswalk may still be in jeopardy, he’s going to create a policy and procedure where he would like to see the crosswalk project move forward by mid-August,” DeLancey said.
