Halo TV Series Canceled By Paramount+ After Two Seasons

Halo TV Show

We have some breaking news on the Halo TV series, with Paramount+ announcing the official cancellation of the Halo TV series after two seasons.

Here’s an official statement (via The Hollywood Reporter):

“We are incredibly proud of this ambitious series and would like to thank our partners Xbox, 343 Industries and Amblin Television, as well as showrunner and executive producer David Wiener, his fellow executive producers, the entire cast led by Pablo Schreiber as Master Chief and the incredible crew for all their exceptional work. We wish everyone the best in the future.”

Although Paramount has decided to end this deal, it seems that it is not over yet, as Amblin, Xbox and 343 Industries are looking for another way to sell the series for a third season. Paramount+ is reportedly on board with this idea.

Paramount’s Halo series debuted in 2022, and while it didn’t have the support of all fans, it has seemingly become one of Paramount’s most-watched streaming series. This latest Halo series news comes on the heels of Paramount signing a multi-billion dollar merger with Skydance Media after ongoing financial difficulties.
