One person killed in dispute over parking space money

Hyderabad:A person was killed after a violent altercation between two parking ticket collectors at Secunderabad railway station near the parking area, Gopalapuram police said. The incident took place on Wednesday but the victim, Muthu Selvan, was declared dead on Friday.

The RPF has officially denied the incident. Gopalapuram police have not revealed any details.

According to reports, the accused, Chandra Shekhar, repeatedly hit Selvan on the head during a quarrel with a square rod he had obtained from a parking ticket booth.

A staff member tried to intervene. But Chandra Shekhar did not stop and grabbed a cement brick and threw it at Selvan’s face. As people started gathering, Shekhar fled the scene.
