Trump Responds to Kamala Being Too Afraid to Debate on September 4: ‘That’s Because She’s Really Dumb!’ | The Gateway Pundit

In another fiery statement, former President Donald Trump didn’t hold back from criticizing Kamala Harris for canceling a debate on September 4.

Gateway Pundit earlier reported that Kamala Harris’ campaign has flatly refused to participate in a highly anticipated debate against former President Donald Trump, scheduled for September 4 on Fox News. Instead, they are insisting on limiting the debate to far-left media outlets, revealing their desperate attempt to control the narrative and shield Harris from tough questions.

Trump spoke to Truth Social to clarify his position and announce details of the upcoming event:

“I have agreed with Fox News to debate Kamala Harris on Wednesday, September 4th. The debate was originally scheduled against Sleepy Joe Biden on ABC, but was canceled because Biden will no longer be participating. I am also in litigation against ABC Network and George Slopadopoulos, which creates a conflict of interest. The Fox News debate will be held in the Great Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, at a location to be determined. The moderators will be Bret Baier and Martha MacCallum, and the rules will mirror those of my previous debate with Sleepy Joe – BUT WITH A FULL AUDIENCE!”

Harris’ campaign team has taken a defensive stance. Michael Tyler, her campaign’s communications director, accused Trump of being “spooked” and trying to pull out of the debate he had originally agreed to participate in on September 10. He said:

“Donald Trump is scared and trying to back out of the debate he already agreed to do. He’s running straight to Fox News to save it. He needs to stop playing games and show up for the debate he already committed to on September 10,” Tyler told NBC.

“The Vice President will be there in some capacity to take advantage of the opportunity to address a national audience in prime time. We are happy to discuss other debates after the one that both campaigns have already agreed to. Mr. Anytime, Anywhere, Anyplace should have no problem with that, unless he is too afraid to show up on the 10th.”

Trump has already explained that he is “suing ABC Network and George Slopadopoulos, creating a conflict of interest.”

Trump also agreed to debate Biden on September 10, but Biden was forcibly removed from the ticket by party oligarchs. Harris was later elected after stealing all of Biden’s delegates. She never won a primary, but she is now the Democratic nominee after a group of elitists propelled her to the top of the ticket.

In response, Trump again addressed Truth Social:

“Kamala Harris does not have the mental capacity to have a REAL debate with me, scheduled for September 4th in Pennsylvania. She is afraid because she cannot justify her corrupt, open border policies, the destruction of our country’s environment, the embarrassment of Afghanistan, the runaway inflation, the terrible economy, the high interest rates and taxes, and her years-long fight against saying “Merry Christmas.” I will see her on September 4th or I will not see her at all. She is recognized as the worst Vice President in history, which complements the worst President, the crooked Joe Biden. Together, these two low IQ individuals have destroyed our country, but we are going to MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!”

In another post featuring video of Harris struggling to speak coherently, Trump added:

“Has anyone noticed that Kamala Harris doesn’t give interviews? That’s because she’s really dumb! She can’t speak properly without a teleprompter. She has an extremely low IQ, and our country doesn’t need someone who can’t string two sentences together. We just got done with that — His name is Sleepy Joe Biden!”

Trump released a video of Biden and Harris greeting Gershkovich, Whelan and Kurmasheva at Joint Base Andrews near Washington late Thursday night. Things then started to get awkward for Harris when she began chatting with reporters shortly after meeting the released prisoners.

Harris addressed Americans for the first time off-script as the presumptive Democratic nominee and took the opportunity to praise Biden for his “diplomatic” skills. Or at least tried to before quickly mispronouncing her remarks.
