Chief Minister Naidu announces Rs 10 lakh assistance to family of 4 killed in house collapse

Kurnool: Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has announced a financial assistance of Rs 10 lakh to the family of four who tragically lost their lives in a house collapse in Chinnawangali village, Chagalamarri mandal, Nandyal district on Thursday evening.

The victims, identified as Tallapureddy Gurusekhar, his wife Dastagiramma and their daughters Pavitra and Gurulakshmi, were killed when their mud house collapsed. Their surviving daughter, Guru Prasanna, a 15-year-old Class X student, is now an orphan.

Expressing deep sorrow over the incident, the chief minister directed officials to deposit Rs 10 lakh in the name of Guru Prasanna and provide Rs 2 lakh to her grandmother, Tallapureddy Nagamma, who will take care of her.

The district collector has been directed to provide all necessary support to the young orphan. The chief minister also assured the family of continued support for Prasanna’s education and welfare.
