My Hero Academia Announces New Anime Hiatus

My Hero Academy shook up the anime world with its latest episode. Taking the opportunity to reveal Bakugo’s current status, the anime adaptation’s final battle gave All For One and Shigaraki terrifying new forms as the fight for the Hero Society continues. This summer, Studio Bones’ production already took a break that separated a major cliffhanger from this recent episode and it looks like the TV series will do so again. Given the magnitude of the latest cliffhanger, there will definitely be some Class 1-A fans eager for the anime’s return.

As was the case with the twelfth episode of My Hero Academia Season seven, the episode was pushed back a week due to coverage of the 2024 Summer Olympics in France. In a new announcement, the shonen franchise confirmed that the same would be true for the thirteenth episode of the recent season. Following Deku’s arrival on the battlefield, the next episode will arrive on August 17 and will continue the current skirmish. The Summer Olympics themselves will end on August 11, meaning there should be no further delay based on the schedule of the legendary games.

My Hero Academia Future

The thirteenth episode of the seventh season is titled “Connected Stars” and is sure to be one of the most action-packed episodes of the final season. Thanks to the use of One For All’s power, Izuku Midoriya was able to travel to UA Academy in record time, meaning the heroes have never had a better chance of defeating Shigaraki. Unfortunately, Shigaraki isn’t the only threat to the Hero Society right now.
