ABC’s Rachel Scott Enthuses About Harris ‘Prosecutor’ During Debate

The regime’s media continues to do its best to stir up Kamalamania in the atmosphere. On ABC this weekSenior campaign correspondent Rachel Scott was openly salivating at the thought of a Harris-Trump debate.

Watch Scott revisit the “prosecutor vs. criminal” campaign narrative and speculate on whether Trump will even debate Harris:

SUSAN PAGE: I moderated the last debate she did in 2020. The vice presidential debate. She’s a good debater. She’s confident. She uses a little humor. She shut Mike Pence down, which was something I really struggled with, and she comes across in this debate as a prosecutor, and that’s a good message for her.

GEORGE STEPHANOPOULOS: That seems to be his strong point.

RACHEL SCOTT: Yeah, and imagine on the debate stage, a prosecutor could go up against someone who’s just been convicted, right? And that’s the kind of image that Democrats hope they can have on the debate stage, but yeah, and if you think about her matchup with President Biden when they faced off in the Democratic primaries, Democrats see her as someone who could potentially thrive on the debate stage. The question is whether that’s actually going to happen.

STEPHANOPOULOS: We’ll see, thank you all for coming. We’ll be right back.

“Imagine that,” Scott says. One imagines the regime’s media cohort feeling an onanistic pleasure at the thought of Harris beating Trump in a debate as if it were the last minute of a Law and order Episode. A political debate is a completely different proposition from a criminal trial, where defendants don’t often directly refute their prosecutors. Here, Scott indulges his imagination openly.

Recall that it was Scott who launched into a tirade to open former President Donald Trump’s forum at the National Association of Black Journalists convention in Chicago. As our colleague Alex Christy noted in his report on the event, Scott kicked off the event by asking:

“You’ve asked four women of color in Congress, who are American citizens, to go back to where they came from. You’ve used words like “animal” and “rabid” to describe black lawyers. You’ve attacked black journalists, calling them “losers” and saying the questions they asked were, quote, “stupid and racist.” You had dinner with a white supremacist at your Mar-a-Lago resort. So my question, sir, is now that you’re asking black supporters to vote for you, why should black voters trust you after using language like that?”

This is clearly a narrative advancement, as was Scott’s enormous passion for prosecutor Harris. This wasn’t the only time during the panel that Scott did this.

Forget all this admiration for Harris’ “nuance” and response: what pivotal issues is Scott talking about here, other than abortion and perhaps price controls?

As Mary Bruce is to Joe Biden, Rachel Scott is to Kamala Harris. The Democrats’ most sycophantic network has a new chief apple-polishing officer in town.
