TOWIE fans have now raved that the star “doesn’t look like Mario” after having work done on her upper and lower eyelids, in a procedure called upper and lower blepharoplasty.

Mario treated fans to a Q&A about the cosmetic changes on his Instagram Stories page.

He filmed himself sitting on his couch wearing a black Adidas top.

His face looked distinctly different and more sculpted, while he retained his moustache and three-day beard.

The ITVBe personality – who rose to fame on the reality TV show in 2011 – swapped her floppy brunette locks for a shorter hairstyle.

In his video he talks about his surgery under the eye of Dr Carlo at Signature Clinic UK.

In the comments of her Instagram post, one fan was quick to say: “You look completely different!”

A second response: “Oh shit… you don’t look like Mario! You look totally different!”

A third then added: “Damn I was so confused you looked so different.

“Oh my god, it popped up in my newsfeed and I had to look up who it was, a completely different person!”

Mario Falcone says he traded his six-pack for a beer belly since becoming a dad, but he still works out every day

Earlier this summer we reported how the Essex lad had become “self-conscious” about his appearance.

At the time, he told his Instagram followers: “My droopy eyelids are something I’ve become aware of over the last couple of years, I blame the kids (laughing emoji), very happy with the results so far! Big thanks to @dr.carlodebbas.”

The NHS defines blepharoplasty as “cosmetic surgery to remove excess skin or fat from the eyelids. This procedure changes the appearance of drooping or sagging eyelids or bags under the eyes.”

The procedure, which lasts between 45 minutes and 2 1/2 hours, involves making incisions along the natural lines of the eyelids and removing excess fat and skin.

TOWIE fans think Mario Falcone looks completely different after his recent surgery – but what exactly did he have?

In 2016 he underwent a secret rhinoplasty – a nose job – which cost £5,000.

At the time, he told The Sun how he decided to go under the knife after being bullied by some of his co-stars.

He then presented for the first time the results of an intervention on his eyelids in June 2024.

It came after the young Essex man became “self-conscious” about his appearance.
