Curve New York Launches Bridal Show to Coincide with French Lingerie Event

Curve, one of the leading trade shows for the underwear and swimwear industry, is set to return to New York in August for its Spring/Summer 2025 presentation.

Taking place August 4-6 at the Javits Center, Curve New York will coincide with the French Lingerie Event on August 5 at the Central Park Boathouse, which will showcase the latest collections from eight iconic Association Lingerie Française brands, including Aubade, Chantelle and Simone Pérèle.

With over 200 international brands among its exhibitors, Curve New York is set to launch several new initiatives this season, including a dedicated bridal space for the first time. “This season, Curve is introducing a variety of exciting new elements,” Raphael Camp, CEO of Curve’s parent company Comexposium, said in a statement.

“Our Bridal Show is a highlight of our initiative. We have invited 20 leading brands to showcase their bridal collections. This initiative reflects the growing trend of brides investing more in their pre-wedding lives, with a focus on items such as wedding dresses and lingerie. Renowned brands such as Aubade and Lise Charmel will be featured, marking our first foray into showcasing bridal lingerie in the lingerie space.”

The upcoming edition of Curve New York aims to examine some of the latest pop culture trends and their potential impact on the lingerie industry, including the growing use of lingerie as outerwear. “Celebrities embracing this trend were the focus of our latest issue of Revealed magazine, which will be available at the show and is currently available online,” Camp said in a statement. “This trend is set to transform the lingerie industry as more and more people look to emulate these glamorous looks.”

Also new at Curve New York is the collaboration between Curve NY and UK trade show Wonderland. Through the Curve NY x Wonderland collaboration, ten Wonderland finalists, a selection of emerging and established brands, will preview Curve New York at the show. Buyers from various retailers can vote for their favourite brand via QR code, and the winning UK brand will be awarded a free booth at Curve New York in February 2025.

Alongside the Bridal Salon, Curve New York will host “Speed Dating” sessions for the first time, where new brands and buyers will be offered a unique networking opportunity to meet for the first time. The show will also welcome 30 new brands and emerging designers this season through its Curve Class of 2024 initiative. Brands that will be exhibiting for the first time at Curve New York include Appealing, Maison Louve, Okko and The Little Bra Company.

“Once again, we are also offering a range of workshops and activities for our attendees,” said Camp. “Our goal is to make all retailers feel welcome and comfortable at Curve, whether they are from the region or abroad. Our New York show will feature panels with industry leaders, complimentary 15-minute chair massages on the show floor, as well as daily performances, runway shows and fitting workshops.”
