JoJo Siwa rehashes his quarrel with Candace Cameron Bure.

Siwa, 21, mentioned Bure, 48, while naming people she wouldn’t want on her podcast “JoJo Siwa Now” during the Tuesday, August 6, episode.

“For me, personally, the rudest celebrity I’ve ever met was Candace Cameron. She was not nice to me when I met her,” Siwa noted. “That doesn’t mean she’s a terribly rude person. It just means she was the rudest person I’ve ever met.”

Siwa first shared on TikTok in 2022 that Bure “wasn’t nice” to her. “(I) showed it quickly, thinking no one would ever see it,” she recalled. According to the singer, there was “no real conflict” despite the unpleasant interaction.

Different perspectives. JoJo Siwa raised eyebrows when she called Candace Cameron Bure “rude” in a TikTok video — and that was just the beginning of their drama. “It comes down to wanting to stand up for my people, but not wanting to create drama that doesn’t necessarily need to happen,” Siwa continued. “But regardless, Candace and I have talked about it. She’s honestly been really nice to me about it. We’ve talked about it publicly, too.”

Bure had previously confirmed that she had reached out to Siwa to resolve the issue.

“She wouldn’t tell me (how rude I had been to her),” Bure said in a lengthy Instagram video in July 2022. “She said, ‘You know, I met you at the Fuller House premiere and I was 11.’”

Bure said she felt “bad” for upsetting Siwa by refusing to take a photo with her, sharing, “We’re both positive, encouraging people, and I told JoJo how much I’ve always appreciated her because she’s been a great role model because of her positivity throughout her life and career. That’s the tea.”

Today, Siwa is looking at the “stupid, messy” drama in a different light. She clarified Tuesday that she doesn’t want conflict with Bure, but she also doesn’t want to be friends with her.

“I just wouldn’t have invited her on my podcast,” Siwa added. “You know what I mean. If I saw her, I wouldn’t say hello.”

Siwa also criticized Bure for the Full house alumni comments on Great American Media’s plans to “keep traditional marriage at the heart” of their programming.

THE Dancing Moms Siwa’s former student, who came out in April 2021, criticized Bure’s statement at the time. “I honestly can’t believe that after everything that happened just a few months ago, she not only created a movie with the intention of excluding LGBTQIA+ people, but also talked about it in the press,” Siwa wrote via Instagram in November 2022. “This is rude and hurtful to an entire community of people.”
