This raises concerns that she will have an unfair advantage over her co-stars – just like her competitors JB Gill and Sarah Hadland.

As she was revealed as the sixth contestant on the BBC dance show, Tasha said: “Pinch me, I can’t believe I’m going on Strictly Come Dancing.

“I’ve been watching this show since I was little – it’s a Ghouri family favourite – so this is a dream come true.

“I know it will be an unforgettable experience and I hope to represent and make everyone proud on that dance floor.”

The reality star then defended her stance on the show despite being a professional dancer – saying: “I haven’t danced for a number of years, since Love Island, my career is so different.

“It’s such a different style of dance, maybe I’m not good at it, like ballet – I’m not good at ballet.

“I am trained in commercial street style, it will be very hard but I am looking forward to this challenge.”
