Delhi Police Constable Self-Inflicted Gunshot Incident

A Delhi Police chief allegedly shot himself in the head with his service pistol at the Paharganj police station on Friday, an official said. He is undergoing medical treatment and his condition remains critical.

According to a senior police officer, the incident took place around 2 pm when head constable Surendra sustained a bullet injury to his head inside the police station barracks.

Surendra, a resident of Rewari in Haryana, informed his family about the tragic incident. Authorities said that an investigation into the matter is currently underway.
