Rapper Rich Homie Quan’s Girlfriend’s Tragic 911 Call Revealed

Following the death of rapper Rich Homie Quan, his girlfriend’s heartbreaking 911 call was shared online along with the incident report.

The Atlanta star, who rose to fame through Young Thug, died at the age of 34 on September 5.

According to the incident report obtained by various local media outlets, emergency services were called around 11:30 a.m. and arrived at a home on Hamden Forest Drive, where he was found unconscious.

In an audio clip shared with various media outlets, the rapper’s girlfriend, Amber Williams, can be heard crying on the phone to 911 as she explains that her boyfriend “was asleep on the couch since this morning, but he never came to bed last night.”

She added that she left him on the couch before taking her son to school in the morning and put a blanket over him “because he was cold.”

She explained that she now could not “see him breathing” or “feel a heartbeat” and that when she tried to turn him over, “he was like foaming at the mouth.”

The rapper’s girlfriend was then asked if she had a defibrillator nearby, to which she replied, “I don’t know what that is.”

She was then asked to lay him on his back on the floor and remove everything from under his head and she replied, “He’s not waking up, quick.”

After successfully getting the rapper to the ground, in the final moments of the audio call, she was guided on how to perform CPR.

After being transported to Grady Memorial Hospital, the rapper, whose real name was Dequantes Devontay Lamar, was pronounced dead.

Rich Homie Quan’s official cause of death has not yet been determined by the Fulton County Medical Examiner’s Office, and the office previously said Newsweek“At this time, we cannot confirm or deny any information regarding Dequantes Devontay Lamar.”

Rich Homie Quan first gained attention alongside Young Thug due to their collaboration including on the popular mixtape Rich Gang: The Tour, Part 1.

Their relationship eventually culminated in public feuds, the details of which vary widely, but which appear to revolve around their differing views on their careers.

Young Thug, whose real name is Jeffery Williams, and several co-defendants are currently charged with racketeering conspiracy and participation in criminal street gang activity, as well as drug and firearms trafficking, in an ongoing trial.
