Natalie Killorglin to represent Kerry at Miss Universe

Nathalie Sheehan.

Natalie Sheehan (20) from Killorglin will represent Kerry at the Miss Universe Ireland final at the Fairways Hotel in Dundalk this Friday night (September 20).

She is passionate about raising awareness of a rare skin disease she fights against called chronic spontaneous dermo-urticaria.

Natalie is also passionate about advocating for women in sport and creating a sense of acceptance for people who don’t live in a typical family.

She will face stiff competition from 27 other finalists from across Ireland who will vie for the coveted Miss Universe Ireland crown this Friday.

The spectacular ceremony will feature a special performance by Irish hit group ‘Next in Line’. Defending champion Aisha Akorede will crown the winner who will then represent Ireland at the 73rd Miss Universe Finale in Mexico City on November 16.

The Miss Universe Organization (MUO) is a global, inclusive organization that celebrates all cultures, backgrounds and religions by creating a safe space for women to share their stories and make a personal, professional and philanthropic impact.

For the first time, finalists can be married or divorced, they can be mothers or trans women, and there is no upper age limit or height requirement.

Contestants from over 90 countries compete for the title of Miss Universe each year, and everyone in Kerry is hoping Natalie will be crowned the winner.
