Hearne Police Arrest Juvenile for Making Terrorist Threats That Led to Cancellation of Classes at Hearne ISD – WTAW

Hearne police arrest juvenile accused of threatening to shoot up and bomb school.

The department’s Facebook page says the arrest follows a search of the juvenile’s home north of Benchley.

The threats prompted the Hearne School District to cancel classes and extracurricular activities for Thursday, Sept. 19.

The minor, whose age and gender have not been disclosed, was charged with making a terrorist threat.

The Hearne ISD Facebook page said that as of noon Thursday, classes would resume on Friday.
