Shortly after Gleb Savchenko seemingly shut down romance rumors with his Dancing with the Stars partner Brooks Nader, the couple’s recent backstage moment might suggest otherwise.

Brooks, a former Sports Illustrated swimsuit cover model, teams up with Gleb for season 33 of the popular dance competition series.

They survived the show’s early episodes, including last night’s double elimination that sent home one of the most controversial DWTS celebrities in recent history.

Fake heiress and convicted con artist Anna Delvey has gained no popularity with fans or judges.

Delvey made headlines with her electronic bracelet, her brief appearance on the show and her brief answers to questions from co-host Julianne Hough.

Gleb and Brooks just made headlines and seem to prove they’re exploring a romantic connection while competing for the Len Goodman Mirrorball Trophy.

Fan Video Shows Brooks and Gleb’s Behind-the-Scenes Moment at DWTS

A behind-the-scenes video from DWTS has surfaced, showing the couple and several crew members nearby. Behind them, a small mirror with lights is set up, presumably to check makeup and hair.

Gleb, in a white t-shirt, has his back to the mirror as Brooks, facing him, moves closer and briefly kisses him on the lips. Shortly after, Brooks plants another kiss on his DWTS dance partner’s cheek as he holds her close.

Brooks then leans forward to check her makeup in the mirror after the kisses, just before the brief video clip ends (below).

According to the New York Post, the kiss video above came from a fan at the concert who happened to look over from where they were in the venue and saw the couple. It’s unclear when the video was recorded on Tuesday, however.

DWTS Judge Asked About ‘The Kiss’ On Show

The duo celebrated a big night by staying within the dance competition.

On the first episode of Week 1, Brooks and Gleb performed a tango to A Bar Song (Tipsy) by Shaboozey and David Greta. The pair tied with several fellow bunkers, including Delvey and Ezra Sosa, who earned an 18 from the judges.

During the second week’s Oscar night, they fared slightly better and stayed safe after scoring 20 points for a Quickstep to Dolly Parton’s 9-5.

“Where was the kiss in the routine? I was waiting for the kiss to be in the routine. Wasn’t there a kiss?” DWTS judge Carrie Ann Inaba asked them as she assessed their performance.

This left Gleb and Brooks speechless when Carrie Ann told them she was “just teasing” them.

Later in the episode, viewers saw the first two eliminations, as the aforementioned Delvey and former 90210 star Tori Spelling saw their chances of taking home the trophy run out.

Gleb had already shut down romance rumors

Monsters and Critics previously reported on Gleb and Brooks’ possible romance. The pair were spotted getting cozy in New York City around the time of the DWTS casting reveal on Good Morning America.

A series of videos on social media, on TikTok and elsewhere, also suggested that the pair were flirting while working on their dance routines. However, Gleb seemed to deny that they were anything other than dance partners.

A Page Six article published earlier this month suggested that Gleb called Brooks “awesome” and said their chemistry was “incredible,” but did not indicate any romantic interest.

In new remarks Tuesday, they opened up about their status as DWTS partners.

Brooks said their steamy ballroom chemistry doesn’t stop them from performing on the show.

“I think in both of our industries, we’re always surrounded by beautiful, gorgeous people, and you just have to keep your eyes on the camera and focus on the dance,” she told the New York Post.

“We’re very focused on Mirrorball, on getting to the finals and, like Brooks said, it’s important to have good energy in the room because when you’re not, they can see that you’re not in sync with each other; it’s really tough,” Gleb said.

“You have to want to be physically close to the person, with them. We have that, we are in phase, it makes things much easier,” he said.

Dancing with the Stars airs Mondays at 8/7c on ABC and Disney+.
