Lady Gaga Dazzles in Harley Quinn-Inspired Dress for Joker 2 Premiere, and I'm Definitely Here for the Makeup

It’s almost time to smile again, as we’re only a little over a week away from Joker: Madness for Two taking its place among the Movies of 2024 in movie theaters. Although critics like ours Joker 2 goodbye have been quite divided on the film, there’s no denying the impeccable fashion that’s been on display throughout the promotion of this upcoming DC film.

And while Lady Gaga once again stunned us all in a Harley Quinn-inspired dress for the recent UK premiere, I have to draw your attention to the high-end makeup she flaunted at the same time. Joker 2 first critical reactions kicked off the grand tour that director Todd Phillips’ long-awaited film has been on since its first screenings.

The final stop was at Cineworld Leicester Square cinema, with the obligatory red carpet. Although the acting/singing sensation best known for her performance in A star is born I wore a dress that suited the occasion, it was the makeup below that really caught my eye:

Would it even be a Joker What if joy wasn’t tinged with a hint of sadness? This pattern not only fits the smiling mood of the first part despite the pain, it also fits What we know about Joker: Madness for Two and its controversial label as a musical.

With a lone tear painted in black eyeliner and a touch of glitter to stand out, Lady Gaga wears the ultimate statement of mixed emotions. Now that we’ve given these personal, up-close details their due, we should really look into this Joker The first glimpse of the sequel is in question.

While you’ll notice the teardrop makeup more easily than if you saw this photo first, Gaga’s ensemble is just as flawless as the finer touches that make it all sing. Without further ado, here’s Lady Gaga’s dress:

Oddly enough, this look has already been seen in another form thanks to an interesting new collaboration that has been announced. While the Louvre is promoting an exhibition called “Figures of a Fool,” Gaga found herself sporting this solitary tear in a rather artistic clip that could also double as a music video. I have a feeling we might see more of this look in the near future, as there are likely to be other stops where Lady Gaga and Joaquin Phoenix will wow the crowd with even more fashionable takes on their latest project’s theme.
