Winterport Store Announces Closure, Goes Fully Online

WINTERPORT, Maine (WABI) – A popular tea room and tea room is planning something new in the coming months.

Tea Maineia has announced the closure of its physical store in Winterport.

They say the closing will be slow.

Starting in November, they will no longer offer food.

Their tea room will be closed on December 1st and the store itself will close on December 21st.

“When we found out we were going to be grandparents for the first time and that our daughter lives right here in Bangor, we really had to start thinking about how we wanted things to go once our granddaughter was born. daughter would give birth in November. So it seemed like it would be the right decision for us,” said Dan and Debbie Holmes, owners of Tea Maineia.
