Hot Ones’ Gabby Thomas and Sean Evans pose for a ‘spicy’ photo at Athlos NYC

It’s been an incredible 2024 for American track and field star Gabby Thomas. After winning three gold medals at the Paris 2024 Olympics, Gabby has become an international superstar.

She had the time of her life, living it up on the pickleball court and even participating in WNBA action alongside fellow Olympic hero Simone Biles. She recently took some of her standout fashion outfits onto the court for a New York Liberty WNBA playoff game.

Gabby was in New York this week for the inaugural Athlos NYC Invitational Track and Field Meet.

Supported by Alexis Ohanian, Athlos NYC is the first-ever premier women’s track and field competition with 36 of the best athletes from around the world competing in six disciplines.

The meeting took place on Thursday, September 26 at Icahn Stadium.

Gabby finished second in the 200m, earning $25,000 in prize money. She finished behind Brittany Brown, who also finished second in the 100m. With Brown’s first and second place finishes, she won a whopping $85,000.

After racing at this prestigious event, Gabby met an unexpected guest. “Hot Ones” host and Spice King himself, Sean Evans, was in attendance at Athlos NYC and posed for a trackside photo with the Olympic champion.

It’s the collaboration the world never knew it needed.

Maybe we can get an appearance from Gabby Thomas on an upcoming episode of “Hot Ones” before the end of 2024.

Even though Thomas’ race at Athlos NYC didn’t end the way she would have liked, she can still hold her head high. After all, a $25,000 salary and gold medals in the 200m, 4x100m and 4x400m relay is a pretty good two months.
