Daniel Craig’s sublime chaos continues at the Loewe show

Last July, Daniel Craig was revealed as the new face of Loewe. While other very famous guys take a few shots for a few campaigns and call it a day (or a year, in some cases), the British actor goes all out. But just because he takes this gig seriously doesn’t mean he dresses seriously. In fact, at the Paris Fashion Week show, Craig’s cut was pure, sublime chaos.

While she goes to the Loewe spring/summer 2025 women’s show with Rachel Weisz (a romantic evening for the mom and dad of Internet users!), the No time to die The star took the weirdness up a notch or ten. Up top, he donned a leather jacket crafted from one of the most premium nappa lambskin leathers you’ll ever see in your life. This one featured ribbed details on the collar and cuffs, and it was finished with a pre-distressed effect for a vintage, old school vibe.

Craig also released cargo pants covered in pockets, straps and zippers, deliberately oversized and low-rise. Next up were suede combat boots set atop a thick lugged sole and tied together with chunky rope laces. It was pretty crazy, of course, and that craziness was all down to Loewe’s latest collection.

But we haven’t even talked about the craziest part of the fit yet: her sweater. You see, while the James Bond actor could have played it safe and opted for something a little more neutral and a little more low-key, if you’re going to engage in the madness, you have to. commit madly. This top (also part of the A/W ’24 line, by the way) is hand-knit in wool with an abstract poppy print by American artist Richard Hawkins.

Based in Los Angeles, his works draw inspiration from everything from sex tourism and haunted houses to Roman statues and Native American culture. Earlier this year, he also released a series of canvases featuring OnlyFans models and references to meme culture, which the Los Angeles Times described as a “blend of avant-garde, kitsch and kink”.

So it’s no surprise that Loewe is working with Hawkins. And it’s certainly no surprise that Craig is wearing his pieces. After all, he’s a bit of a weird artist himself.

The hairstyle was completed with a small scarf, yellow sunglasses and that wild hair he’s been sporting lately. The overall effect: crazy, eclectic and really cool. A perfect complement to Daniel Craig’s chaotic new era of male madness.
