Lady Gaga Shares 'Deep' Reason Behind Joker 2-Inspired Album

The announcement of Lady Gaga’s new album came as a welcome surprise to many, and the Joker 2 star has now revealed the reasoning behind her new creative project.

Over the years, Lady Gaga’s acting career has evolved into a successful on-screen legacy. Additionally, her roles have clearly shown that whether it’s music or acting, Gaga’s talents often translate into tactical methods.

So it’s no surprise that Gaga revealed that her latest album, Harlequin, was directly inspired by the new film and was the result of her inability to shed her character in Joker: Folie à Deux.

“This idea of dual identities has always been a part of my musical creation,” she said (via The Zane Lowe Show). “I was always creating characters in my music and when I created Lee for Joker, she really had a profound effect on me.

“The film had so much music, so much music that I love, and I was able to discover the character through the story, through the music that we brought to life every day and the dancing and the costumes and the makeup.”

Gaga went on to explain that after filming the musical, she was unable to leave Harley behind. That’s why Harlequin was born, a 13-track album that includes covers of classic hits featured in Joker 2.

“I kind of had a deep experience with the character and she just didn’t really leave me creatively and I decided I wanted to do an entire album inspired by her,” he said. she continued.

“She’s a really complex woman and I think, especially as a woman in music and a producer, it was really fun to say, ‘This album will be and I will be whatever I want, whenever I decide, whenever I I would like it.’ .If I want it to be blues, it will be blues. If I want it to be funk, it will be funk.
