Kamala Harris will troll Trump during Bama game with airborne banner mocking him for skipping second debate

Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris plans to troll Donald Trump for his refusal to participate in a second debate during Saturday’s college football game between Alabama and Georgia.

During the game, which takes place in Tuscaloosa at 7:30 p.m. Eastern, the Harris campaign arranged for a small plane to fly over the country pulling a banner that read: “Trump launches into a second debate.” Trump is expected to attend this game, which, due to its impact on the SEC standings, is expected to be one of the most-watched games of the current season.

At the same time, the campaign will run a national advertisement in which the same message will be repeated. “Winners never back down from a challenge,” says the ad’s narrator. “Champions know it’s anytime, anywhere. But the losers, they whine, procrastinate and take their ball home. »

Harris previously accepted CNN’s invitation to a debate on October 23 and later challenged Trump to do the same. Hours later, Trump told a crowd of supporters in North Carolina that Harris “wants to do a debate right before the election with CNN because she’s losing badly.”

He always insisted that he would not participate in further debates after the September meeting, during which he rambled incoherently and lost his cool on several occasions. Since then, the consensus among viewers and pundits is that he lost heavily.

CNN also reported Saturday that, despite public proclamations to the contrary, Trump had “privately flirted with the idea of meeting Harris on the debate stage one more time.”

“Several of her advisers have argued that this could serve to make the case to the American people that Harris has had more than four years in office to fulfill the campaign promises she is now making, a message that some Trump allies have failed to achieve. not done.” I don’t think he pushed hard enough in the debate earlier this month in Philadelphia,” the outlet added.
