Inter Miami drew against Charlotte FC on Matchday 35 of MLS, thanks to a fantastic goal from their captain, Lionel Messi. The Argentina star found the net for the third time since returning from a right ankle injury suffered in the Copa America final.

Messi’s goal came after a magnificent shot from outside the box. Argentina’s Marcelo Weigandt provided the assist, allowing Messi to score the match’s equalizer.

With this goal, Messi has now 28 goals for Inter Miami, putting him just four goals behind the club’s all-time leading scorer, Ecuadorian striker Leonardo Campana.
