NEW YORK – Only seven other players in MLB history have been hit by a pitch more times than Anthony Rizzo. So when the Yankees first baseman was knocked down in the seventh inning Saturday on a full count, manager Aaron Boone didn’t panic.

Even Rizzo’s loud scream and grimace as he jumped out of the box clenching his right hand didn’t worry Boone any more than anyone else struck by pitch fear.
