The first couple to be voted out of Strictly Come Dancing 2024 has reportedly been leaked, causing a stir among fans and putting judges in the hot seat.

Although BBC One’s results broadcast is scheduled for Sunday evening, it is common knowledge that the dance party takes place just hours after Saturday’s live performances. This has many Strictly fans staying up late on Saturday to find out who has been eliminated.


After an opening week with no eliminations, the competition heated up this weekend as celebrities and their partners fought to stay on the show. Following the result’s leak online, social media was abuzz with viewers expressing their dismay.

While we’re keeping the ousted couple under wraps, the leaked results sparked reactions like, “This stunned me,” and another fan expressed disbelief, saying, “OMG. How did this happen?” ‘Express.

One viewer lamented: “This is so unfair,” while another blasted the judges, saying: “Bad decision.” Another added: “Disappointed for them, I didn’t see this happening at all. Shocking outcome.”

And someone else commented: “Wow that’s a big shock. I wouldn’t have called that at all.” Meanwhile, week two saw former Love Island contestants Tasha Ghouri and Aljaz Skorjanec impress with their Viennese waltz to Dorothy Moore’s Misty Blue, putting them top of the charts.


In a historic moment for the show, the duo scored 35 points out of 40, setting a record for the highest score ever for a Viennese Waltz during week two of Strictly history.

Freed From Desire’s spectacular and fiery Paso Doble saw “Miranda” star Sarah Hadland and partner Vito Coppola earn 32 points, putting them in second place on the leaderboard.


Toyah Willcox and Neil Jones found themselves at the opposite end after their spirited Jive to Tina Turner’s Nutbush City Limits, managing to secure just 18 points. Nonetheless, Anton Du Beke remarked that Toyah had shown improvement, a sentiment echoed by Shirley Ballas, who noted that she was “1,000 times better” than in her previous performance.

Although Craig Revel Horwood pointed out some of Toyah’s “flat” moves, he also admitted his adoration for her unbridled energy. Unfortunately, the bottom of the rankings was none other than Paul Merson.


Teaming up with Karen Hauer, the former footballer’s energetic Salsa to Pitbull’s Fire earned them just 15 points. Craig drew laughter by comparing it to a “comical dance at a wedding”, and Shirley was left almost speechless, calling the routine nothing less than “pure entertainment”.
