Tazewell County man killed by falling tree

TAZEWELL, Va. (WVVA) – High winds from the remnants of Hurricane Helene caused a tragic incident in Tazewell early Friday, September 27, 2024.

According to the National Weather Service storm report, the Tazewell County 911 call center received a call that a man was clearing debris from his driveway when a large tree fell on him, causing fatal injuries. .
