Lancaster County Board of Elections Announces Schedule for Absentee Voting

LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. (WHTM) – Voters in Lancaster County can expect their mail-in or absentee ballots to arrive starting Wednesday, Oct. 2, according to the Lancaster County Board of Elections.

Although Pennsylvania does not have “early voting,” voters can still complete an absentee or mail-in ballot application at local election offices and receive and return a ballot in person beginning Monday, October 7, the elections board said.

The Board of Elections said it completed the final step of its review process last week before the requested ballots could be sent out. As of September 25, the board had not reported any problems.

Voters who have not yet requested to vote have until October 29 to apply. Ballots must be returned no later than 8 p.m. on election day.

The Board of Elections said voters can also track their vote online.
