The Silent Hill 2 remake is finally here! It’s been highly anticipated since its announcement, and the good news is that it offers more than just an exceptional experience worthy of the original. THE Silent Hill 2 Remake Early Access Release Date Is October 6. This is confirmed on the official X account of the series.

If you prefer to wait until the Standard Edition launches, the game will be released on October 8. It is exclusive to PS5 for PlayStation and on PC you can play via Steam. You also have the option to play on the Steam Deck.

Unfortunately, it won’t release day one on Xbox due to timed exclusivity with PS5 for console. This is a one-year exclusive with PlayStation, so the earliest SH2 can land on Xbox is October 8, 2025.

When is Silent Hill 2 Remake early access released?

THE Release time for Silent Hill 2 Remake Early Access release on PC for Steam is 9 p.m. PT on October 5 and 12 a.m. ET/5 a.m. BST on October 6.

As for the PS5, the Early Access release time is 9:00 p.m. PT on October 5 and 12:00 a.m. BST on October 6. All of these launch times have been confirmed by the Bloomber team in a shared launch map.

Of course, for the Standard edition, the above times will apply but for October 7/8.

Whether you plan to play on PS5 or PC, you need to pre-order the Digital Deluxe Edition to play ASAP. The Digital Deluxe edition costs £69.99, while the Standard edition is priced at £59.99 (price via the PSN store).

Ultimately, this incentivizes fans to pay an extra £10. However, the Deluxe Edition doesn’t just offer the ability to enter the fog as early as possible.
