One dead and another seriously injured in Cumberland County stabbing

One person is dead and another is suffering from life-threatening injuries after a stabbing Sunday in Shippensburg, police said.

Pennsylvania State Police were called to the first block of North Washington Street, where they found two people with stab wounds. One person was pronounced dead at the scene and the other was taken to Penn State Health Holy Spirit Hospital.

Police have not identified the person killed and could not say what time the stabbing was reported. The condition of the person who survived is unknown.
