Get ready for a rollercoaster week – The Morning Sun

A rollercoaster of weather is expected in the coming week, alternating between warm and cool, but also dry and rainy.

As we begin our forecast on Monday, increasing clouds are expected ahead of our next system, along with high temperatures around 63 degrees. A big temperature increase is expected on Tuesday, with highs reaching around 75 degrees.

A quick rain shower also seems likely Tuesday morning, with only about 0.1 inches of precipitation expected. Temperatures will remain warm Wednesday, with highs rising slightly higher to around 77 degrees. A soaking rain also seems likely, but the bulk of the rain will have to wait until the evening hours and then continue through the night.

Behind Wednesday’s system, much cooler air will begin to filter into the region, with highs dropping to around 61 degrees on Thursday. Clouds should generally erode over the course of the day as high pressure reenters our region.
