Shaq O’Neal dives into hot water with commentary from Angel Reese

Shaquille O’Neal appears to have irritated Sky’s Angel Reese with some comments about dunking and women’s basketball shorts.

According to People.comO’Neal appeared on Reese’s Unapologeically Angel podcast and discussed how lowered rims could impact the WNBA and added fashion criticism. “Imagine wearing the same little shorts you had on during the Wild ‘N Out show dunking,” referring to the shorts Reese wore during a performance during the Wild ‘N Out Live Tour in Chicago this month .

“Do you know how many T-shirts you’re going to sell?” he asked. Reese seemed to roll her eyes, laugh awkwardly and say, “Oh my god.”

“Okay. Agreed. Agreed. Agreed. Okay,” Reese said, trying to change the subject.

But O’Neal added: “You’re not beautiful or handsome — you’re gorgeous,” he said. “There are a lot of beautiful women in the WNBA.”

The online reaction soon followed.
