Don’t buy these things during Dhanteras

Sharp objects: Never buy sharp objects (knives, scissors, pins, etc.) during Dhanteras as these objects bring bad luck to your family.

Aluminum or plastic products: Do not buy plastic or aluminum during Dhanteras as it is inauspicious in Vedic astrology.

Ceramics and Glassware: Buying glass and ceramic pieces is considered bad luck. Glass objects are believed to be related to Rahu and should be avoided during Dhanteras.
