Brimstone Museum presents Chaos Theory art exhibition

LAKE CHARLES, La. (KPLC) – There’s a unique art exhibit inspired by video games and pop culture on display in Sulfur right now. We spoke with Kat Godsey, Amber Mims and Kirk Cano this morning about the “Chaos Theory” art exhibit.

Chaos Theory is a free community exhibition featuring artwork from over 50 local artists from Southwest Louisiana and Southeast Texas.

The Brimstone Museum in Sulfur has been hosting an annual nostalgic art show for artists, geeks, gamers, pop culture fans, and collectors since 2008. Each year, they feature works inspired by these themes that feature vibrant colors, engaging aesthetics, and visual diversity. .

Each year, the exhibition evolves and adapts to a new trend and subtheme. This year’s is video games.

The Chaos Theory Art Show promises a remarkable event and offers artists a platform to explore the nostalgic realm of video games while embracing the essence of chaos. The event runs until November 7th and the Brimstone Museum is located at 923 S. Ruth St.
