Auto auction company employee can try one claim in benefits dispute

A former Russo & Steele LLC employee seeking increased benefits under an executive compensation plan could end up in court on one claim, a federal judge said in an opinion that found most of the issues in favor of the Arizona auto auction company dissolved.

A lawsuit is needed to determine whether worker’s payout was appropriately reduced to account for $30,000 benefit he may have received in 2016, judge Roslyn O. Silver said.
