Man arrested after boat incident on Lake Texoma

LAKE TEXOMA (KXII) – A man was arrested Saturday after operating a boat while intoxicated and causing an accident.

According to the Grayson County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were called to Preston Bend Park Road in Pottsboro after reports of a possible boating accident and an injured person.

Officers found firefighters and EMS personnel tending to the passengers and the driver, identified as Justin Flores, 50, exhibiting signs of being intoxicated.

Flores was arrested for boating while intoxicated.

Deputies said one person was injured while Flores was operating the boat while under the influence, so he was also charged with intoxication assault causing serious bodily injury.

Flores was booked into the Grayson County Jail and held on $21,500 bond.
