Cyclist seriously injured in collision with camper

A cyclist has been seriously injured in a collision with a camper in Cornwall, police said.

The incident happened at around 1.40pm GMT on Sunday in Treen, on the B3315 near St. Buryan.

The cyclist, a man in his 50s from Penzance, suffered serious injuries and was flown to Derriford hospital by Air Ambulance, Devon and Cornwall Police said.

Investigating officers thanked members of the public who stopped at the scene to help and appealed for witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage of the incident to come forward.
