Reward offered for information after skater killed in North Miami Beach

NORTH MIAMI BEACH, FL. – Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers offered a reward Monday for information leading to an arrest or arrests in connection with the death of a man they say was killed while rollerblading in North Miami Beach earlier this month.

According to detectives, Wilton “Frieza” Mena was rollerblading home shortly after 2 a.m. in the area of ​​Northeast 167th Street and 18th Avenue when he was killed on Oct. 1.

Authorities have not released how Mena was killed. He leaves his wife and two children.

Mena’s family created a GoFundMe account to help pay for funeral expenses. Click here if you want to contribute.
