The 671 hp DB12 Goldfinger Edition is a limited-run model manufactured by the brand’s custom customization division, Q by Aston Martin.

Celebrates 60 years of the brand’s association with the James Bond film franchise.

Only 60 of these exclusive vehicles will be produced, marking a milestone in one of cinema’s most iconic partnerships, which began with the release of Goldfinger in 1964.

The DB5 quickly became one of the most recognizable cars in the world, solidifying Aston Martin’s place in the history of cinema and the automotive industry.

Sixty years later, the DB12 Goldfinger Edition continues that legacy, combining the latest in luxury and performance with features inspired by the iconic spy.

While the DB5 in Goldfinger was known for its gadgets, the DB12 Goldfinger Edition focuses on providing a luxurious driving experience.

Painted in the iconic Silver Birch color that made the DB5 famous, the DB12 Goldfinger Edition features stunning 21” multi-spoke wheels with a diamond finish, black brake calipers and gold side moldings.

The car’s personalization is highlighted by a chrome “Q” fender emblem, representing the exclusive characteristics of Aston Martin’s Q division.

Inside, the interior takes inspiration from Bond’s wardrobe, featuring leather Sports Plus seats designed with a Prince of Wales check perforation pattern, reminiscent of Bond’s classic suit.

Gold-plated details, including the drive mode dial and gear selector, pay homage to Goldfinger’s golden tracking device.

Four iconic British engines made famous by James Bond have been auctioned for more than £1 million each

Attention to detail extends to the golden fibers woven into the carbon fiber finish, with a subtle nod to Bond fans: the “eight of hearts” is embroidered on the driver’s sun visor, referencing a key scene from the film.

Each DB12 Goldfinger Edition comes with a selection of exclusive gifts.

Owners will receive a personalized car cover, a luxurious key presentation box and a Silver Birch Speedform template.

A truly unique gift – a 35mm film frame of the iconic Furka Pass scene in Goldfinger – will also be included.

These items will be presented in a Globe-Trotter suitcase, designed to match the car’s Silver Birch exterior and Prince of Wales plaid interior.

Owners will also receive an individually numbered magnum bottle of vintage 2007 Bollinger Champagne, along with four exclusive Bollinger 007 glasses, all elegantly presented in a Globe-Trotter Air Cabin box.

The DB12 Goldfinger Edition was created by Aston Martin’s Q division, a personalization service that offers customers countless options for personalized details.

Just like ‘Q Branch’ in the Bond films, the Q team works closely with customers to design unique vehicles, from small customizations to entirely new components.

Marco Mattiacci, Global Brand and Commercial Director at Aston Martin, said: “This special edition celebrates this partnership and pays tribute to perhaps the most famous Bond car of all time, the DB5.”

The DB12 Goldfinger Edition is powered by a 4.0-liter V8 Twin-Turbo engine, delivering 680 HP/800 Nm for an exhilarating yet refined drive.

It features Aston Martin’s state-of-the-art infotainment system, developed in-house, and the Bowers & Wilkins halo audio system, ensuring a soundtrack fit for a secret agent.

First deliveries of the DB12 Goldfinger Edition are expected to begin in the second quarter of 2025, adding another chapter to Aston Martin’s storied history in motorsport and film.

Aston Martin that appeared alongside Pierce Brosnan in the Bond film for sale – more than 20 years after the blockbuster’s release

By Jacob Jaffa

A VINTAGE Aston Martin that appeared alongside Pierce Brosnan in a beloved Bond film is up for sale 20 years after the blockbuster’s release.

In fact, the car was owned by the manufacturer’s president himself and features some special Bond-themed touches.

Chief among these is the chassis number, with the company specifically assigning the digits 007 to the engine.

The 2001 Vanquish model is practically identical to the stunt car used in the film Die Another Day.

The film followed Brosnan’s Bond as he thwarted a plot to enable the communist takeover of South Korea.

In one of its most enduring scenes, Her Majesty’s super spy chases villain Gustav Graves across the frozen landscape of an Icelandic glacier using the Vantage.

Although this car wasn’t actually used on set, it accompanied Brosnan back into the real world as a press car for a number of promotional shoots and events.

Perhaps the most unique feature, however, is the fact that it comes complete with replicas of the weapons fitted by MI6 boffin Q in the film.

The front grille features several ports for red-tipped missiles, while the hood houses retractable machine guns (all fake, of course).

Photos accompanying the listing on AutoTrader show that the car comes with its original registration number, as well as a special plate with the 007 logo.

It remains in immaculate condition and has covered just 53,700 miles since new.

Many of them were under the management of Dr. Urich Bez, former president of Aston Martin and the car’s original owner.

The silver body appears to have just one blemish, while the brown leather-trimmed interior looks practically new.

Under the hood, it carries Aston’s iconic V12 engine, with more than 500 horsepower and a top speed of around 300 km/h.

The listing states: “This is a great opportunity to purchase a car with a fascinating history.

“Originally delivered to Dr. Urich Bez as new and later used as a press car and featured in several magazine articles with Pierce Brosnan, as well as in several Die Another Day Bond photo shoots.

“The car will be repaired and given a 12-month MOT, clean HPI and no damage caused by the accident.”

However, thanks to the incredible story, as you can imagine, it comes at a rather expensive price.

The old Bond engine is advertised at £99,950.
