Erin Foster Tells Adam Brody He’s Being Ignored by the Cast of ‘The OC’

Decades before the success of Netflix Nobody wants thisCreator Erin Foster and series star Adam Brody crossed paths The OC – whether he remembers her or not.

During a recent episode of ‘The World’s First Podcast’, which she co-hosts with her sister Sara FosterErin, 42, spoke with Brody, 44, about her experiences on the set of the hit teen drama, which Brody starred in for all four seasons until the series’ 2007 release.

In the interview, Brody admitted that he never knew Erin had appeared on The OCsaying, “I assumed it was Sarah.” Erin joked in response, “I don’t know what’s the bigger insult, not knowing I was there or thinking it was Sara.”

“I was trying to be an actress,” Erin continued, noting that her scenes were not with Brody. “I had red hair and a different nose, so you don’t have to feel bad if you don’t remember who I was. We never worked together and I sucked. Like, I was really bad on the show, and I had very minimal scenes and none of them were with you, they were all with Mischa (Barton)I think, and (Cam Gigandet as Kevin Volchek), the guy who played my friend.”

She added that during the short time she was on the show, she was “so low on the totem pole,” with Sara laughingly saying that Erin wasn’t allowed to talk to anyone on set.

Erin agreed, adding, “I wasn’t allowed to talk to anyone on set The OC. I have a memory of someone walking into the makeup trailer and saying, “I’m ordering Nobu, who wants some?” And they just walked past me, as if I wasn’t allowed to place an order.”

Brody joked in response, “I don’t think I ever got Nobu The OC.”

Erin continued, “I really didn’t want you to find out about this because I didn’t want you to lose respect because I was a loser guest star on The OC when I tried to get you to trust me with this work of art that we were going to create together.

Brody, who plays the handsome rabbi opposite us Kristen Bell‘s agnostic sex podcaster on the romantic comedy series took it all in stride, telling Erin, “There are so many people I’ve worked with who have usurped me.” And now you are one of them.”
