Kamala Harris surprises rally attendees with blunt Trump video

Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris criticized Republican candidate Donald Trump at his rally in Erie, Pennsylvania, using her rival’s own words.

Harris made the rare move of showing images of the former president on a large screen.

The vice president set it all up by telling the audience: “After all these years, we know who Donald Trump is. He is someone who will stop at nothing to claim power for himself. And you don’t have to just take my word for it. I’ve been saying for some time, watch his rallies, listen to his words, he tells us who he is and tells us what he would do if he were elected president. So here tonight, I’m going to show you an example of Donald Trump’s worldview and intentions.”

“Please roll the clip,” Harris said, drawing gasps from the crowd.

A montage of Trump spreading fear about “enemies within” and complaining that he might use the military to deal with “radical left lunatics” if he won back the White House then played.

The clip ended and the audience booed.

“Then you heard his words coming from him,” Harris said.

Trump is “talking about how he considers anyone who doesn’t support him or who doesn’t bend to his will to be an enemy of our country,” she continued. “It’s a serious problem. He’s saying he would use the military to go after them. Think about it.

“This is one of the reasons why I strongly believe that a second Trump term would be a huge and dangerous risk for America,” she added. “Donald Trump is increasingly unstable and unbalanced and seeks unfettered power.”
