Good Morning Britain’s Richard Madeley leaves viewers stunned and Susanna Reid grimacing with VERY rude mistake as he introduces co-star

Richard Madeley left Good Morning Britain viewers stunned on Tuesday when he almost called Andi Peters a very rude word.

The shock moment came as the 63-year-old broadcaster was about to connect with the 53-year-old roving reporter after a segment about Barney the Dinosaur’s return to screens after 14 years.

Richard attempted to make a humorous dig at Andi’s age by referring to his co-star as a ‘dinosaur’, however, he suffered an unfortunate slip of the tongue and almost uttered a pornographic word.

Addressing the camera, he said: ‘Speaking of dinosaurs, here’s Andi Pen-‘ before composing himself and correcting his words to Andi Peters.

The awkward moment didn’t go unnoticed by her co-star Susanna Reid, who briefly made a very shocked face before composing herself as the camera cut to Andi in Singapore.

Andi himself downplayed the situation by telling Susanna: ‘Your face was as shocked as mine!’ before presenting the day’s competition.

Viewers at home also noticed the epic mistake when taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, to share their comments.

‘Did Richard just say Andi Pe**s?!’

‘It was the look on Susanna’s face!’

‘Given me a giggle, poor Andi!’

This isn’t the only time Andi has been at the center of chaos on ITV lately.

Earlier this month, the presenter couldn’t contain his laughter when he looked at the wrong camera during a competition segment about Lorraine.

Andi was nervous after making the faux pas and struggled to regain her composure.

The morning television host was presenting a competition opportunity to viewers when he started talking to the wrong camera.

In a panic, he said: ‘There are a lot of cameras in the studios, sometimes it’s confusing!’.

He then attempted to present a map before admitting he got confused and presented the chart later in the program.

Barely containing himself, he said: ‘There are too many maps, there are too many cameras, there are too many voices in my head, there is so much going on.’

And her laugh proved infectious, as presenter Christine Lampard, 45, also became hysterical over the mistake.

Good Morning Britain continues weekdays from 6am on ITV.
