Man seriously injured in Minneapolis shooting, suspect not in custody

A man was seriously injured after a shooting in Minneapolis on Monday evening.

Law enforcement officers responded to the 3500 block of Columbus Avenue on Monday after a report of a shooting.

A photographer from 5 EYEWITNESS NEWS captured Minneapolis officers surrounding a home trying to communicate with a person. At one point, a drone was seen flying into the home.

Law enforcement officials say the shooting suspect fled the scene and is not in custody.

Police said no other victims were found at the scene.
