Baltimore, MD – A man was seriously injured during a shooting in Northwest Baltimore on Saturday night, prompting a full investigation by local authorities.

On October 12, 2024, at approximately 6:54 p.m., officers responded to reports of gunshots in the 4400 block of Garrison Boulevard. Upon arrival, they found an unidentified male victim suffering from multiple apparent gunshot wounds. Medics quickly transported the victim to a local hospital for treatment.

  • Victim attacked in broad daylight while suspect makes ethnic comments in DC

    Washington, D.C. – A simple attack in Northwest DC is under investigation as a potential hate crime, prompting a request for public assistance in identifying the suspect.

    On October 12, at approximately 9:44 a.m., the victim was walking in the 800 block of 6th Street, Northwest, when the suspect approached and attacked her. As the suspect fled the scene, they made comments targeting the victim’s ethnicity.

    The suspect was captured on surveillance cameras and the images are provided for identification purposes.

    Anyone who can identify the suspect or have information about the incident is asked to call police at (202) 727-9099 or text tips to the Department’s TEXT TIP LINE at 50411. The D.C. Metropolitan Police Department is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest and indictment of individuals responsible for crimes committed in the District of Columbia.

    The Metropolitan Police Department is investigating this incident as potentially motivated by hate or bias. This designation may change as the investigation progresses, and the Special Liaison Department is assisting with the investigation.
