Some cloud cover, but no rain on Tuesday

We’ll be in and out of some cloud on Tuesday, but raindrops are unlikely, barring a stray coastal shower. Highs will rise into the low to mid 70s on Tuesday despite increasing cloud cover. Temperatures will continue to rise a little each day throughout the week, so we can expect temperatures in the 80s on Thursday and Friday. The rest of the week will be sunny, with only the occasional cloud in the sky. The ghosts, ghouls and goblins can expect low to mid 70s when they hit the streets late Thursday. Dress the children accordingly.

A weak front will move through eastern NC Friday night into Saturday, but with limited moisture. Rain will be scarce, mostly in scattered, short showers. This pattern is ideal for autumn lovers: sunny days and mild evenings, so enjoy! Weekend highs will drop behind the front to a seasonal low of 70 degrees.
