Greg Gutfeld spews idiotic theory about why Democrats ask Trump if he will accept the election results

Wow, we were thinking they asked why Trump refused to accept President Joe Biden’s fair 2020 victory, persistently lied about fraud, and inspired a riot to overturn the results. He continues to call this campaign stolen and has hinted at violence if his 2024 run against Vice President Kamala Harris doesn’t go his way. And he continues to regurgitate baseless claims that Democrats will cheat. The Washington Post reported Monday about the fear-mongering and harassment of election officials that Trump and allies could use to try to reverse another loss.

But Gutfeld seemed to live in an alternate universe on Fox News’ “The Five” on Monday.

“I think they’re planning something,” Gutfeld said, probably about the vice president and her supporters. “Because you keep hearing the same question: ‘Would you accept the result of this election?’ They keep asking the same question. Isn’t that a strange question to ask? Like you look like you’re getting ready to do something? ‘You better accept this election no matter what, Dana,’” he playfully warned co-host Dana Perino.

Gutfeld strangely likened the question to asking someone if they will tip a service provider before the service is provided.

“You need to ask yourself, ‘Why? Why are you asking me this?’” he said.

Gutfeld has already sown doubts about the proximity of the elections, suggesting, even before the vice president’s nomination, that the Democrats are “inventing” something with the votes and could “resort to dirty electoral tricks”.
