Police: Schenectady woman caught with fake ID at airport

A Schenectady woman is accused of trying to get through airport security with fraudulent identification cards.

Deputies responded to Albany International Airport on Oct. 12 shortly before 5 p.m. for a report that Norbelis T. Medina-Aguilar, 19, was using a counterfeit work authorization card and Social Security card, according to with the Albany County Sheriff’s Office.

Medina-Aguilar was arrested and charged with two counts of possession of a forged instrument. She was issued an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in Colonie Municipal Court at a later date.
