Five in critical condition after crash near Doddington

Five people are seriously ill in hospital after two cars collided near a Lincolnshire village.

Lincolnshire Police said the crash, involving a silver BMW and a gray Nissan Qashqai, occurred near the Doddington Hall junction shortly after 0900 GMT on Monday.

Officers said the drivers of both vehicles, along with a passenger traveling in the BMW and two others who were in the Nissan, were in critical condition in hospital.

The force is now looking for witnesses and dashcam footage.
